ABOUT ME
Winnye Wilks has had a multi-faceted career as a human resource executive that spans over 30 years with many Fortune 500 companies.
She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but spent many of her formative years in Jackson, Mississippi. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Public Administration from the University of Mississippi and was a Patricia Robert Harris Scholar at Auburn University where she received a Master of Public Administration. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Winnye has been committed to youth in her community through the endowment of scholarships and now the development of children’s books that offer life lessons on friendship, acceptance, and foundational learning. Winnye has written 8 children’s books that can be found on Amazon, The Book Patch and Barnes & Noble. The most popular of these books is “Jack Takes On The Bullies” that was featured during the 2020 Delta Authors on Tour.
She hopes that you will enjoy these books and look out for her upcoming publications featuring Jack, the Jack Russell Terrier and his sidekick Rex, the Cat. Winnye will also be introducing new characters with new life experiences.
